Teach children from ages 3-6 year old using the Montessori method.

Duties will include:

Teaching:

Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum using the Montessori method. Deliver and facilitate individual and group learning activities that allow for variations in students’ learning styles and performance modes to stimulate intellectual growth, social and emotional skills. Prepare and provide engaging and interactive instruction based on students’ assessed level of readiness in Math and Language. Evaluate teaching resources and curriculum requirements for their comprehensiveness, accuracy and usefulness.

Assessment:

Observe, assess and document each student’s development. Use assessment results to diagnose students’ learning needs, align and modify instruction and teaching strategies. Meet and discuss students’ assessment levels, behavioral attitudes, achievements and progress with parents and promote the school’s mission, objectives and policies to parents.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective learning programs/curriculum for students to ensure that learning standards are met and maintain a positive learning environment.
