I’m Jhoanalyn G. Brodit, a dedicated early childhood educator and school leader with over 12 years of experience in education and early childhood development. With a background in Elementary Education specializing in Early Childhood Education, as well as a master’s degree in educational management and AMS - American Montessori Society credentialed Montessori teacher.
As School Director, I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, respectful, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow at their own pace. I believe that children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, make choices, build independence, and develop confidence through meaningful experiences. My leadership reflects the Montessori philosophy of respect for the child, independence, hands-on learning, and love of learning.

I’ve always believed that every single child is an artist, born with an endless imagination and a natural instinct to create. Personally, I just absolutely love school, and I can't wait to pass that same excitement for learning and art down to your children.
I’ve been blessed to work with kids since 2007, and it has truly been my life's calling. On the professional side, I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as an Art Design Degree from China. I started working for Empire Montessori Preschool EVC in 2008 and started work in the Pleasant Hill location in 2021. Because we are a fully certified Montessori school, my favorite thing to do is weave creative art experiences right into our traditional, hands-on Montessori routines. It gives the children the perfect balance of independence to explore and create at their own pace.
At the end of the day, my philosophy is very simple: I treat my students just like my own kids. During our year together, they aren’t just names on a class list to me—they truly become a part of my heart.
